Unlike most watercolor painters, I am a fan of DETAIL. I use more pigment to fully cover the paper and small brushes to get as many shadows and details as I can. Sometimes I have to break out the Micron Pens to get even smaller details… then I do some work with just the pens on paper… then I think of how cool paper is, how much of it I have, and the next thing you know I’m collaging with whatever I can get my hands on.
